FTS Marine Services started trading in 1912 as Fleetwood Trawlers Supply and was owned and run as a cooperative by the local fishermen. Over the years, as the fishing industry declined, the now privately-owned business diversified into other areas, catering for a thriving leisure boating industry, today consisting of five unique departments:

The Yacht Shop

Our ‘bustling’ chandlery shop has a range of over 7000 products, and caters for the requirements of the local, national and international seafaring community.

Our team of expert staff have many years of nautical experience and are only too happy to give product advice in person, over the telephone and through our website.

The Fishing Box

Fleetwood and the Fylde Coast boasts some of the best fishing waters in the UK and as our local commercial fishing industry declined we concentrated on the local leisure fishing industry, most recently expanding our operations to national and international anglers via our website.

We have dedicated staff with a massive knowledge of the best fishing spots and the latest fishing technology and products. We are stockists for many of the top name fishing products including Fladen, Ammodytes, Warbird, Ultima, Breakaway and Much More.

Complete Covers & Sails

Our very experienced cover manufacturing team offer the complete service for all types of fabric construction. This department grew out of the sailmaking and sail repairing requirements of local boat owners, which we still continue today, producing a wide range of sails, sprayhoods and dodgers. Coupled with our maintenance and repair services we offer a one-stop shop for the nautical community.

We also design and manufacture non-nautical items e.g. PVC signage, trailer covers, awnings and all other types of fabric products for commercial and domestic use. Find out more from our website.

Flying The Flag

We are major suppliers of quality Flags, Flagpoles and Accessories for nautical and commercial use. We offer hundreds of standard country flags, semaphore, association and club flags.

Townes Lifting & Testing

We supply Lifting and Testing services on behalf of our sister company Towne Lifting and Testing Company who have been a main stockist, supplier, repairer and installer of lifting equipment throughout the North for the past 60 years.
